Vendor Info Lincoln County’s Catawba Valley Pottery Market

2024 marks the second year of what we hope will become a successful annual pottery event in Lincolnton, North Carolina. This year’s Market will be held at the Lincoln Cultural Center, 403 East Main St. on October 4 & 5 beginning with the festive Lincolnton Downtown Art Crawl in the evening and open for a full day of public sales on Saturday.

The Market is open to all clay artists, along with dealers, collectors, and potters with an emphasis on the Catawba Valley traditional style. The goal is to promote the historic significance and the rich tradition of regional pottery and to perhaps inspire the next generation of collectors and potters. The event is sponsored by and benefits Lincoln County Historical Association, Inc.

Compared to some other venues, our current space is very limited (around 15 vendors), so it’s important to register and pay as soon as possible to secure your space.

The registration fee includes one long table and two chairs per each 10x10 booth space. Vendors receive a complimentary sandwich buffet lunch with trimmings on Saturday. Extensive advertising is planned.

Details and an application are here. For more information, contact Carole Howell at 828-777-8707 or email We hope to see you there!
