Lincoln Cultural Center, 7 p.m. Brief business session followed by guest speaker, Chris Stonestreet, teacher of AP U.S. and World History at Mooresville Senior High School and adjunct professor of history at Central Piedmont Community College. He is a contributing writer for the Mooresville Tribune and the Charlotte Observer: Iredell Neighbors section, and the author of several books including The Battle of Cowan’s Ford: General Davidson’s Stand on the Catawba River and Its Place in North Carolina History (2012), The Battle of Colson’s Mill: Death Knell of the Carolina Tories (2014), A Quick and Bloody Affair: The Skirmish at Torrence’s Tavern (2014), and Curse of the Wampus, and other Short Spooky Stories of Piedmont North Carolina (2016).
